In 1979, Jere L. Beasley founded a one-lawyer firm in Montgomery, Alabama, which has grown into the renowned Beasley, Allen, Crow, Methvin, Portis & Miles, P.C.

Jere has been championing victims’ rights since 1962, starting his law practice in Tuscaloosa and Clayton, Alabama. He briefly stepped away from law to serve as Lieutenant Governor of Alabama from 1970 to 1978, becoming the youngest Lieutenant Governor in the U.S. at the time. He even served as Governor for a short period while Gov. George Wallace recovered from an assassination attempt.

Resuming his legal career, Jere successfully tried hundreds of cases, securing numerous courtroom victories that have significantly benefited society. Today, he leverages his experience to share valuable insights and legal updates with subscribers.
